Treva Tegtmeier

Most recently at Actors Co-op, Treva was delighted to play Avis in A Body of Water with a world premiere of the new ending by Lee Blessing. Other Co-op credits include M’Lynn in Steel Magnolias (Scenie Award Best Actress, Robby Nomination Best Production and Best Actress), A Man for all Seasons (Scenie Award Best Actress), Dr. Gertrude Ladenburger in Ovation Award wining 33 Variations (Ovation Award Best Production, Ovation Nomination Best Ensemble, Sage Award Best Ensemble, LADCC Nomination Best Production, Scenie Award Outstanding Ensemble, Robby Award Best Drama, Robby Nomination Best Supporting Actress), Denise in The Baker’s Wife, Lizzy Curry in Ovation Award-winning 110 in the Shade (Ovation Award Best Production, Scene Award and Robby Nomination Best Actress). Treva also played Amalia Balish in She Loves Me (Ovation Nomination Best Actress and Best Musical, Dramalogue Award and Robby Nomination Best Actress) as well as Lola in Damn Yankees, The Elephant Man (1995 production), Light up the Sky, Side by Side by Sondheim, and Lettuce and Loveage.

Other favorite L.A. theatre credits include: Welcome to the Moon (PRTE) and The Guys at the Groundlings. Treva worked extensively in Chicago Theatre: Sunday in the Park with George, Pal Joey, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and The Winter’s Tale, all at the Goodman Theatre; Les Liasons Dangereuses at interplay; I Can Hear Menachim but You Can’t Come in at Second City Training Center, just to name a few.

In addition, she has acted in many original musicals with American Folklore Theatre (Northern Lights Theatre) in Wisconsin as well as theatres throughout the midwest. Some favorites: Loose Lips Sink Ships, Packer Fans from Outer Space, and The Bachelor. Treva also toured Cyprus, France, and Armenia with the Christian band New Hope.

Treva has been in many commercials and enjoys voice-over as well. Her television and film credits include: Switched at Birth, Grey’s Anatomy, 90210, iCarly, The Tonight Show, My LIfe, The Darkness Within, The Shadow Men,  Roseanne and X-Files.
