Carly Lopez

Carly is thrilled to have joined the Co-op in December of 2016 and received this great opportunity to be contributing to such a beautiful family of actors, dreamers, and do-ers. At the Co-op, Carly recently produced and starred in the Co-op Too! Ruthie and Me. This fall, she will make her Mainstage debut in The 39 Steps. Other recent theatre credits include Harriet  in Jane Austen’s Emma, Sally in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Anthony Newley’s Stop the World! I want to Get Off,  Barry Kornhauser’s Reeling, and  Phebe in As You Like It.  As a part of The Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival, she was seen in A Midsummer Night's Dream and as Ophelia in Hamlet.

When not at the Co-op, Carly operates her self-owned Character Entertainment company Pasadena Princess & Co. (pasadenaprincessco.com) where she gets to make little ones’ dreams come true every weekend. Also in Pasadena, Carly is a part of Illumine Playback Theatre troupe; a form of improvisational theatre that takes the stories of audience members’ lives and honors them by playing them back on stage. She has improv training from the delightful Celeste Pechous at The Second City in Hollywood.

Carly is a Connecticut native and a recent graduate from Palm Beach Atlantic University where she received a BA in Theatre Arts. She moved to L.A. from South Florida two years ago with her husband, Chris, and her cat Luzie. Together they love to go see films, find good Thai food, and dream about future projects.
