Heather was born and raised in Virginia, calls Boston (and the SOX) home, but her heart is here in Los Angeles. She earned her BFA in Acting at Emerson College under Kristin Linklater and is honored to be a part of Actors Co-op.
Currently serving as the Actors Co-op Artistic Chairperson, Heather is both a director and an actress.
Heather most recently played the role of Mrs. Webb in Thornton Wilder's Our Town. Other mainstage credits include Isabel in the west coast premiere of Yours, Isabel, The Fortune Teller in Skin of our Teeth and Birdie in Shooting Stars. Heather has also performed in multiple Co-op Too!s: Becca in Rabbit Hole, Celia Pope in A Hatful of Rain, Ophelia in Hamlet, Rosalind in As You Like It, Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing, Lanie Wells in Two Rooms, and Katherine in Henry V. A member of Co-op for the last thirteen seasons, she made her Co-op debut as Lizzie in A Wickershim's Christmas Eve in 2004.
A lover of new works, Heather produced new musical Makin' Hay at the Actors Co-op and Company We Keep for the Minnesota Fringe Festival. She also produced the Co-op mainstage show of Merrily We Roll Along.
Heather directed the West Coast Premiere of Aline Brosh McKenna's Inside Lois at the HBO workspace as well as the new musical Trails for the Los Angeles New Musical Festival. At Actors Co-op she has directed The Learned Ladies, The Matchmaker and most recently Dancing at Lughnasa. Heather has just signed on to direct the west coast premiere of Edward Albee's The Occupant opening at The Garry Marshall Theater in February of 2018.
Before Los Angeles, Heather was the Assistant Artistic Director for national touring children’s theater company THE HAMPSTEAD PLAYERS. She has taught at South Coast Repertory’s teen conservatory and currently teaches theater at Immaculate Heart High School.
